Christmas Break

I haven't written for awhile...

Life is busy!

But also good...

I will update on a few projects I've been working on later.

But first, I want to show you some of the capturings of this relaxing Christmas Break...

Prince Charming

I have a to do list sitting upstairs with at least 20 items

I should be attempting to check off right now...

But I'm blogging instead.

Earlier I was naughty 

And treated myself to a midday movie.

I watched "Practical Magic"

And I loved it, I had never seen it before.

In the movie Sandra Bullock does a spell when she's like 8,

Creating an impossible guy

So she'll never fall in love.

Of course the "impossible guy"

Comes along.

Not only is he super hot,

But he also saves the day.

Oh, and he doesn't even know Sandra,

and he's effortlessly in love with her.

Everything she so conveniently "didn't wish for".

Why do I like movies like these?

Starting when we're little, we are polluted

With images of Prince Charming...

He doesn't exist!

At least I haven't met one.

And I've been on a lot of dates.

Anyway, I hate to be Debby Downer,

But it's just one of those days.

Here's to not getting things done every once in awhile!

A 8 year old Magician, Starbucks, and Shopping

I had a date Wednesday night.

It went ok, but I was done and in my car by 10:30...

(I've had 2 dates this week that have ended in the 10 time range.  Dating... SO FUN!)

The time a date ends is always a sign as to how it went.

But this is not why I'm blogging!

Before I began my belated date, I played with my friend Chels.

We are practically in a long distance relationship 

since there is an hour and 1/2 between us.

And Salt Lake is a perfect meeting spot.

This little tike was ADORABLE!  He was 8 and he was working the corner with his magic tricks.  He actually had some good ones.  Sure stumped me...

Just out and about last night...

A weekend with Pixie

Ok, so her name isn't actually Pixie.

Alright, she's not actually technically a girl....

Chelsea got to babysit a friend's little puppy

this last weekend

and boy did we have fun!

And yes, it was a boy and his name is Kai,

But can us girls have a little fun??

By naming it and choosing it's sex?

This is what we did with Pixie:

A nice little walk around Provo.

We took her to a friends outside wedding reception (which PS was so cute!)

We took her on a drive where she took a little nap.

And we just hung out with her all night:)

But, my nice feelings for her all flew out the window when she woke me up at 7:00 am.  It's my saturday people!  My only chance to sleep in.  I also was dismayed to find the puppy chewing on the edge of my blanket, trying to pull it off me.  Later, we found Chelsea's cute new shoes ruined.

So my liking for this puppy changed as you can see.

I decided I probably need a bigger dog.

And also a man to take care of it.

Other than that, I've decide that I'm really more baby hungry than puppy hungry...

While I'm adding all these puppy pics of Chels, I thought I'd add this one too.  This is a puppy that's only 3 weeks old!!  My neighbor had Mr Snuggles wrapped in a blanket on the lawn.

I guess you could say my weekend was very eventful with the K9's :) 

I think my brain is fried....

Today was one of those days.

All I want to do is Pinterest.

Here's what I'm feelin today...

 Shut up, I think this is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Everything about this evokes jealousy.

 I love this soooo much.  I think I want to do this in my classroom.

 These are too cute to eat.  I'd probably keep it forever.

 Overlook that this quote comes from the Hills.  But isn't this true?  My poor friends (and mother for that matter) are nice even when it's pointless.  Therapy.

Can I be the nanny for this child please?

I would love nothing more than to play with this child.
